Due to the emergency of COVID-19, the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) postponed the CFA level 2 review for the June 2020 session. Examinations are deferred until the next update is given on the official website by the Institute. The CFA Institute has also announced that the CFA Level 2 program would not be updated for the next two sessions.
CFA exam registration session review was closed by the Institute on March 11, 2020. The choice of filling out the CFA Level 2 registration form for the December 2020 session is still available to all candidates. For the December 2020 session, the last date to complete the registration form will be September 9, 2020. The Institute shall tentatively issue a CFA Level 2 examination admission ticket within one month of the examination date. For the June 2020 session, there are 11 exam centers for the CFA Level 2 exam. Within 60 days of the 2020 CFA Level 2 exam, the Institute will release the CFA Level 2 exam results on its official website.
CFA Level 2 2020: Conditions of Eligibility
Applicants must have qualified for the CFA level 1 exam in compliance with the CFA level 2 exam eligibility requirements. Applicants must review the Institute's eligibility requirements before registering for the 2020 CFA Level 2 Test. The fees for registration at the CFA level will be non-refundable. If the applicants are not found to be qualified after registration for the 2020 CFA level 2 test, then the Institute will cancel their application. As indicated below, the eligibility requirements for the CFA level 2 exam are:
1. Professional eligibility:
Applicants must have an attested Professional Conduct Declaration to satisfy their professional eligibility to apply for CFA level 2 registration.
2. Academic eligibility:
To satisfy the academic criteria of the 2020 CFA level 2 test, applicants must have a bachelor's degree or a minimum of four years of professional work experience, or a combination of both for a minimum of four years.
3. Residential eligibility:
The applicant must live in a country where the Institute has arranged the CFA Level 2 Exam 2020 centers. Otherwise, registration for the CFA Level 2 exam would not be permitted.
4. Requirement for documents:
Applicants will need to have their international travel passport for the 2020 CFA level 2 exam registration. Applicants who do not have an International Travel Passport will not be eligible to participate in the 2020 CFA Level 2 test.
2020 CFA Level 2: Registration
The CFA exam online registration form is available on the official website of the CFA Institute. Only qualifying candidates can fill out the CFA Level 2 registration form online. The Institute closed the registration process for the June 2020 session on March 11, 2020. Candidates will complete the registration form for the CFA Level 2 December 2020 session until September 9, 2020. Registration forms will be available for the regular duration until August 19, 2020. Applicants must follow the guidelines given below to fill out the CFA level 2 registration process form:
1. Official website: Visit the CFA Institute's official website at https:/www.cfainstitute.org/
2. Login and level selection: Applicants must log in with a registered ID and password and choose Level 2 as the CFA program level.
3. Old Details Correction: Review the old details and update them if any changes are appropriate.
4. Examination center: from the eleven center choices across India, fill the exam center venue for the CFA level 2 exam 2020.
5. Foreign Passport Information: For verification purposes, fill out your passport details, e.g., Birthdate, passport number, etc.
6. Select criteria for eligibility: Fill in the eligibility criteria according to the required choice.
7. Employer and Professional Data: Enter the details of your employer and professional background information on which basis you apply. Send then.
8. Study Content Mode: Pick the mode in which the Institute will submit the books.
9. Payment of fees: Applicants may apply CFA exam fee by credit card, wire transfer, ACH, cheque, postal order, or money order.
10. Examination AND PRINTING OF THE FORM: Before submitting the form, applicants must examination it and then apply and carry out the CFA Level 2 print registration for future reference.
What is the charge for the 2020 CFA Registration Level 2?
The CFA level 2 exam fee to be submitted for registration at CFA level 2 for the December 2020 session are as follows:
1. CFA program registration fee: 450 USD
2. Registration fee (Early Bird)-US$700
3. Registration (standard) fee-USD 1,000
4. 1.450 USD late registration fee
Stage 2 2020 CFA: Alternative Review Date
For all candidates who may obtain some religious obligation on the examination date determined by the Institute, the CFA Institute offers an alternative examination date for the 2020 CFA level 2 test. Applicants will have to apply for the alternative religious date if they cannot take the test on the dates determined by the conducting body for the CFA level 2 test. In addition to submitting the alternative religious date for the 2020 CFA level 2 test, applicants would also have to include proof of the supporting text.
2020 CFA Level 2: Entry Pass
The Institute will release a CFA Level 2 Examination 2020 admission ticket on the CFA Institute's official website. The CFA Level 2 Exam 2020 admission ticket will be given for approx. One month before the CFA review. Applicants will be allowed to have a CFA Level 2 admission ticket printed out at the CFA Review Centre.
Candidates will have to include their registered e-mail ID and password to download the official website's admission ticket. If something is written on the CFA Level 2 admission pass, applicants will not take part in the CFA test. It is advisory, therefore, not to write anything on the 2020 CFA admission card.

Stage 2 2020 of the CFA: exam centers
The CFA Level 2 exam is carried out in several countries. To be qualified for the CFA Level 2 test, the applicant must reside in the country where the Institute provides the CFA Level 2 test center. The examination center choice has been provided by the Institute of CFA throughout India. For the June 2020 CFA Level 2 Examination 2020 exam session, there are 11 exam centers in India. At the time of completion of the CFA Level 2 registration form, candidates will have the option of selecting the exam center according to their preference.
Stage 2 2020 of CFA: Result
Within 60 days of the test, the CFA Institute will issue the 2020 CAF Level 2 Review outcome. Candidates will be able to download the CFA Level 2 results from the official CFA Institute website. Candidates will have to include their login ID and password to download the CFA Level 2 Exam 2020 from the official website. The minimum passing score and marks earned by the applicants in the 2020 CFA level 2 exam will be included in the outcome.
Within 60 days of the 2020 CFA level 2 exam, the Institute will also send the results of CFA level 2 to the registered e-mail address of the candidates. Candidates have to check their registered e-mail ID before the 2020 CFA Level 2 declaration. If the specifics are inaccurate, the candidates are expected to correct to prevent any inconvenience before the result announcement date.
2020 CFA Level 2: Passing Percentage
In addition to the 2020 CFA Level 2 Review outcome, the Institute will also have passing percentage data on the official website. To know about the difficulty level of the exam, the candidates may check the passing percentage results. The passing percentage data would include the total number of candidates who have participated in the test, the total number of candidates who have passed, the total number of candidates who have failed, and the passing percentage.
